Diversity Day- Feast of St. Gabriel Celebration

Food and entertainment from the different cultural and ethnic groups in the Parish will take place directly after Mass in the picnic area.

The St. Gabriel Miracle Players announce auditions & re-auditions for the musical The SOUND of MUSIC, Sunday, February 6 from 2-4pm, and Monday, Feb 7 from 7-9 pm at Watershed Public Charter School Auditorium on the St Gabriel Campus 6946 Dogwood Rd, Windsor Mill Maryland – off Rolling Rd. Callbacks by invitation will be Thursday, February 10.

All auditioners must have proof of vaccination and wear a mask.  

Please be prepared to sing 32 bars of a song that shows off your vocal talent in the style of the show (approximately 30 to 45 seconds of music) and bring sheet music or a recorded accompaniment. Wear comfortable shoes & clothes you can dance in.

Cast from 2020 auditions may retain their role or re-audition for a different role.

Roles open include: Maria, Max, Liesl, Rolf, Brigitta, Admiral von Schreiber, Sister Margaretta, Nuns, Postulants and Children’s Chorus.

Rehearsal for the cast will be Sunday afternoon and Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Performances will be May 6,7,8, 13,14,15, 2022

Tech week will be from April 30 – May 5 with rehearsals each day or evening

The Children’s Chorus will sing during the show and have 3 Sunday Rehearsal in April prior to Tech Week and a more limited tech week rehearsal expectation.

Please be ready to record all conflict dates on your audition form.

Adults, 18+ and Teens, 13-17 will be required to complete an on-line Child Safety Protection course, if they are already not Virtus or Worthy of the Call certified.
