St. Gabriel Parish dialogues on Immigration and Race

The What Would Jesus Do?  Group of St. Gabriel parish and the Latino Racial Justice Circle invites you to a dialogue between Parishioners. These dialogues are a follow-up to the St. Gabriel Parish Attitude survey that was done in November/December 2020. Participants will share stories, thoughts, and feelings about immigration and race, reflect on similarities and differences between immigrants and people born in the United States and explore areas of collaboration. The conversations will be facilitated by Dr. Felipe Filomeno, co-chair of the Latino Racial Justice Circle and professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

The dialogues will be comprised of three distinct sessions and attendance at all three sessions is required. They will be held virtually on Zoom on Tuesdays May 18th, May 25th, and June 1st, 2021 from 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm. Registration is required and can be found here. Space is limited.
